Extended Producer Responsibility is an environmental policy approach in which the producer's responsibility for reducing environmental impact and managing the product is extended across the whole life cycle of the product, from selection of materials and design to its end-of-life, and especially for their take-back, recycling and disposal.

- EucoLight celebrates 10 years
EPR Club member EucoLight celebrated its 10th anniversary during a conference held in Brussels on 14–15 May 2025. The event brought together over 65 stakeholders—including policymakers, industry leaders, and environmental experts—to reflect on a decade of progress in lighting recycling and to explore the future of the circular economy. The conference highlighted key challenges and opportunities in WEEE compliance, with a strong focus on harmonised regulation, enforcement, and tackling free-riding in online sales.
